Submission Guidelines – What We Accept & How to Submit
We welcome submissions from both new and established authors. Before submitting, ensure your manuscript meets our requirements.
What We Accept
  • Completed, well-edited manuscripts (50,000+ words; Tremplins requires 40,000+).
  • Original works (No previously self-published books unless exceptional).
  • Genre-appropriate content (No excessive explicit material).
How to Submit
Prepare Your Manuscript - Format properly (double-spaced, 12pt font, Word or PDF).
Write a Query Letter – A one-page summary including genre, word count, and a brief author bio.
Include a One-Page Synopsis – A concise overview, including major plot points.
Add a Header – Author name, title, chapter, and page number on every page.
Send via Email or Snail Mail – Follow submission guidelines.
Our editorial team reviews submissions and responds within three to four months. If you do not receive a response within that timeframe, feel free to follow up.

Writing Style Requirements
We seek manuscripts written from a single point of view (POV) in either:
  • First-person POV – Told from the protagonist’s perspective using “I” and “me.”
  • Third-person limited POV – Focuses on a single character’s thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
We do not accept omniscient POV or frequent perspective shifts within a scene.
Submission Guidelines
For Electronic Submissions

Submit manuscripts as an attachment in:

  • Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • WordPerfect (.wpd)
  • Use 12-point Courier New font.
  • Double-space all text.
  • Left-justify all paragraphs.
  • Indent paragraphs using the tab key only (no spaces or auto-indents)

Include page headers with:

  • Book title
  • Author’s name
  • Chapter and page number
  • Submissions missing these elements may be returned unread.

Send your manuscript as an attachment to:

Subject Line: Submission – [Your Book Title] – [Your Name]

For Hard-Copy Submissions
  • Use 8.5 x 11-inch pages with one-inch margins.
  • Submit printed, double-spaced pages in 12-point Courier New font.
  • Include page headers on every page with:
  • Book title
  • Author’s name
  • Chapter and page number
  • Securely bind the manuscript with a paperclip or binder clip (no staples).
Manuscripts that do not meet these guidelines will not be reviewed.
Required Submission Materials
  • First Three Chapters – Submit for initial evaluation.

One-Page Synopsis – Briefly outline:

  • Main character’s dilemma.
  • Key obstacles throughout the story.
  • Projected ending.

Complete Contact Information – Include on the title page:

  • Full legal name (and pen name, if applicable).
  • Phone number.
  • Mailing address.
  • Email address.
Submissions missing contact details will be returned unread.
